The aquarium pump is submersible and must be fully submerged in water before powering on to avoid burning out. Prohibit no-load running, as it can shorten the lifespan and lead to loud noises when running in the air for a long time. When changing water, please disconnect the power supply.

If the water pump is stuck by debris such as mud, garbage, or sea salt, it needs to be cleaned with clean water before use. The operating temperature range is 40-95°F. Due to professional water testing by the manufacturer before shipment, the pump may have a small amount of residual water, which is a normal occurrence and does not indicate any issues.

The inner shaft will have a bit of lubricant to ensure the motor works well. If you are raising sensitive fish or aquatic plants, please use the pump in other tanks for a short time before moving it into the fish tank. If the product suddenly stops working or makes noises, it may be caused by debris blockage, and regular cleaning is recommended, or you can add some olive oil to the rotor.

To address any problems, check the power source and plug, ensure there is water, and refer to the installation manual and safety instructions. If the pump is noisy, detach and clean it. If the flow is insufficient, check the control valve, impeller, pipe/strainer, water level, and electrical stability.

For cleaning and maintenance, unplug the pump, remove the control valve to clean the outlet, and take off the base strainer to access and clean the impeller.
